Room 1 – Lucca

Its entrance leads from the courtyard, allowing convenient access for you to enjoy the braai area, plunge pool and our other inviting outside spaces.

All of our rooms have an exceptionally comfy queen sized bed with a selection of pillows and luxurious linen, refreshed daily (and changed every third day for longer stays), to ensure you have a relaxing and restful sleep.

Each room comes with fresh ground plunger coffee (French press), tea, sugar, sweeteners and milk, accompanied by rusks and other delicious biscuits. There is also a coffee pod machine in the common area for those who would prefer.

The warm and well-placed lighting in all the rooms and bathrooms complements the contrasting white and black color scheme of the House of Pinardt. A ceiling fan helps to circulate the air in already cool rooms.

Inviting Courtyard & Swimming Pool
The moment one sets foot in the courtyard, a sense of tranquility and warmth envelops you. Our cool and calming inner sanctuary is divided into separate outside spaces, to be enjoyed by each group of guests.
Modern clean lines with black and white surfaces and a hint of yellow, complemented by lush green hedges and trees, define the exterior of House of Pinardt, offering a delightful yet calming welcome.
Enjoy relaxing evenings by our solar-heated plunge pool, taste local wines, roast your favorite foods using our large braai area, or find one of our other inviting nooks to lounge, close your eyes, and listen to the local birdlife.
Breakfast (Optional)
All of our rooms (except Zoe, the self-catering unit) include an optional breakfast, which is currently served off-premises at two of Robertson’s most popular eateries, De Bakkerij and Four Cousins.
De Bakkerij, a gorgeous local café and bakery only a minute walk from the guest house, offers delicious meals, fresh-baked goods, and refreshing coffee, tea, along with a selection of other drinks. The voucher includes one dish and one drink from the menu per person. Opening hours: Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, Saturdays 9am-1pm. Closed on Sundays.
At Four Cousins, you can enjoy a more contemporary, modern-style breakfast option. Being Four Cousins, it also has a wine and beer-tasting facility on-site. With the Four Cousins breakfast option, you get a R100 voucher towards your own chosen breakfast or any other dish on their menu. Opening hours: Every day from 8am till late.
During your room-booking process, you may decide if you would like to include the breakfast option. Then, when you check-in, we will discuss with you the above two options to help you finally decide where to enjoy your breakfast.
Checkin & Checkout
Check-in is at 2pm, and check-out is at 10pm, however earlier check-ins or later check-outs can often be accommodated by discussing it with us in advance.
House Rules
We don’t believe in many rules that might prevent you from having a great time, though, the following should be kept in mind.
- Smoking is allowed anywhere outside in the courtyard.
- Please keep noise at a reasonable level.
- Please respect our house, your fellow guests, and their belongings.
- Please keep our perimeter gates closed and locked at all times for everyone’s safety.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival forfeit 100% of booking costs. Cancellations prior to this period allow for a full refund.
